Self- discipline is one of the most important skills we need to master if we want some major positive impact in our lives. When it comes to making major decisions, it is always you and your thoughts. You intent to do one thing and your mind tell you to do another. You intent to go for 2 miles run, but your mind tells you to sit in your comfortable sofa and binge watch a Netflix series. But if you have a good self-discipline, then you will know and will do what needs to be done.

Here are some useful advice that I read around the web, which I would like to share with you.

Don’t take the advantage of the comfort zone, when you face challenges. Don’t make the easy choices. Learn about the challenges you are facing and find out what really needs to be done, and do it.

The only thing that holds you back is the way you see challenges. If you think the challenge you are facing is unachievable and there is no way you can get through it, then you never will.

The only thing that is special about successful people is they have determination. They figured out what is holding them back and they do something about it. Instead of playing the victim, they take control of their actions. They refuse to be a victim and be victorious.

Don’t try to control uncontrollable, instead try to control how you react to those uncontrollable.

When you feel like you can’t do anything, do what you can. Every little action will get you closer to your goals.

The things you think you cannot do; you cannot accomplish; are the things that will change your life. They are the answer you are looking for. All you have to do is try. Know that to achieve those things in success, you need to be consistent and passionate.

Everyday, every night ask yourself what did you do to develop yourself? What did you learn? How did you grow? Also ask what did you do for others? How did you help others to learn and grow? You can grow and improve yourself by serving others, helping others.

Do you have any tips that helps you with your self-discipline?
